Metropolitan YMCA (MYMCA) Community Services consists of a team of dedicated staff and volunteers which constantly work towards enriching the lives of the less fortunate in a variety of ways.

We believe in nurturing children and developing youths to become socially responsible adults through our myriad of youth and outreach programmes like M.Y Mentoring (where secondary school youths are mentored to improve their social-emotional skills) and M.Y Big Sweep (where volunteers clean the homes of the elderly or incapacitated residents on a regular basis to improve their living conditions and also lift up their spirits)

We also reach out to individuals and families who face huge financial, social and emotional challenges, for example low-income families with sole breadwinners who have been retrenched, incapacitated, or incarcerated.

Through MY Manna, we give practical support to such families to bridge extreme circumstances. We do this by providing basic provisions such as rice, cooking oil, groceries and toiletries on a monthly basis, according to the needs and preferences of our beneficiaries.

The cost of serving our beneficiaries through our outreach programmes runs up to more than $600,000 a year. Every dollar donated to our annual MYMCA Flag Day held this 12 May 2018 will make a difference to their lives. All donations are eligible for 250% tax exemption. Join us in giving today!
