Equipping and Engaging Youths for Career Entry
M.Y Internship programme adopts a strong and intentional approach to equip and empower youths through providing a holistic professional internship and career counseling experience. Youths will be nurtured as interns to scale new heights in the working world for the 21st Century.
Youths are mentored for both personal and professional development. Potential candidates can look forward to receiving support from various stakeholders to be equipped for the working world. At MYMCA, we aim to prepare our budding labor force with platforms and opportunities to learn and translate their learned subject knowledge into practical industrial experiences.
To date, we have mentored local youths from post O-levels age to tertiary students in polytechnics and universities. Overseas partnerships include students from City University of Hong Kong.

Working with MYMCA is a good mix of being pushed and having fun. Somehow, they always find ways to sneak in some fun in every day seemingly mundane tasks. Events are executed with close attention to detail and a bird's eye view at the same time. They are constantly looking for new and better ways to get things done; what you say matters and people take serious consideration at everyone's suggestions. The department works very well as a team, covering for one another whenever we make mistakes.
Daniel Thng, MYMCA Intern
It has been quite a memorable and fun journey being in MYMCA. It has provided me with a safe space to really explore and grow in the areas I was lacking while also allowing my strengths to be enhanced. It was a little challenging at the start as I was still adapting and the department was also going through a change in direction and introducing new programs. However, I’m thankful I had supportive and fun colleagues and a good supervisor who empowered me and always looked out for me.
