Equipping and Engaging Youths for Career Entry
M.Y Internship programme adopts a strong and intentional approach to equip and empower youths through providing a holistic professional internship and career counselling experience.
Young people are mentored for both personal and professional development. Potential candidates can look forward to receiving support from various stakeholders to be equipped for the working world. At MYMCA, we aim to prepare our budding labour force with platforms and opportunities to learn and translate their learned subject knowledge into practical industrial experiences.
To date, we have mentored local youths from post O-levels age to tertiary students in polytechnics and universities. Overseas partnerships include students from City University of Hong Kong. M.Y Internship programme aims to nurture and inspire our youth interns to scale new heights in the working world for the 21st Century.
What you can do:
- Join as an intern! Potential candidates will go through a pre-internship programme to identify their passions and strengths and to better prepare them in their workplaces. Interns will be attached to experienced mentors for nurture towards growth and personal breakthroughs to realise their job and personal satisfactions.
- Partner as a mentor or an external partner! Experienced mentors and external partners will be screened to ensure effective profiling and career pairing. MYMCA becomes a bridge for mentors to share their valuable industrial experiences and an opportunity to impact youths through mentoring.
